The dungeon is guarded by demons and ghouls. Brittany can’t leave her aunt in such an awful place. In hope of rescuing her, she cobbles together a ragtag army of witches, vampires, and fairies. But her band of rebels cannot be trusted — the humans hate the vampires, the vampires hate the fairies, and the fairies hate everyone. Brittany has no more faith in them than she does in herself.

If the rescue attempt fails, Brittany’s aunt will die and Brittany will be banished to who knows where. But if Brittany doesn’t try, her aunt will spend the rest of her days in the clutches of the evil queen. What’s a teenage witch to do?

My favorite in the series so far!

This one is the best in the series so far. Brittany is starting to come into her own as a very strong witch, and having to deal with the emotions of this and what she can actually do with her magic is at times heart wrenching. Love this one ! The narrator, Jennifer Fournier is one of my favorites.
