This was a struggle to listen too.

This book had good elements but never really came through on anything. The characters were good but the plots and the never ending rambling dialogue was too much. The narration was bad too. He was so boring and uninspired sounding.

Very enjoyable with humor that only military will get.

Story was great, not sure if it was the mic but there is a slight lip smacking with the recording. Really enjoyed the military hazing takes me back to a younger time.

Terrible Narrator

I could not get past the terrible narrator. Every sentence ended with a downward intonation and made it painful to listen to. Decent story but only because it was free.

fun story line

Having been a Marine helo pilot in Vietnam for two years including four months as a ground FAC, there was much familiar sounding action; except for the carrier landing--I was carrier qualified--that was a bit of a reach.
