Receive God’s Grace

When Jesus died on the cross, he said, “It is finished.” Jesus' price for man’s sin was indeed finished on the cross. God provided the solution to guilt. He sacrificed himself on the cross (Philippians 2:5–11). Victory in Christ is impossible without the love and liberty that comes from the forgiveness Jesus paid for on the cross. God’s grace replaces our heavy loads with his easy, light one.

It’s not about what I have done but what Christ has done for me. I’m righteous in Jesus. He’s my hope, my fullness, my all in all. In Jesus, I’m alive; I have peace. I’ve learned that trying to please God through my good works leads to more guilt and less freedom. Turning to grace and God’s love were the only solutions. Faith in what Jesus has done for me on the cross has given me new freedom and victory. God’s grace and love have become my refuge and hope.
