Tearing across the globe, a super-virus obliterates the world’s helpless population. Australia is no different, as cities and towns fall rapidly, the government is unable to prevent the uprising of a brutal enemy. At a secret military facility in a remote location south-west of Sydney, one man and his small team of scientists fight the adversary at a microscopic level. But something goes horribly wrong. With limited options, military command is forced to recall one of Australia’s highest-level Special Forces teams from the badlands of Helmand Province. Minus their leader, the men must overcome their differences as they face an enemy that will test everything they know about skill and survival in what will be their most deadly mission.
