1st book in the Redeemed Trilogy

A little scary how relatable this story was to current times. Of course, real life is not as black and white as the good and bad guys are in this book, dividing straight along the political lines. Biblical information was integral to the whole story, several call to Jesus moments. Good actions, delved into the details of scenes.

I love going into a book blind. I figure out tropes and surprises pretty quick, so I don't like to read too much into a book before I start. I treated this book the same. It was recommended to me, and I read it. It was intriguing and kept me wanting to listen. I enjoyed the story, looking forward to what happens with the characters in the next book!

All the emotions!

Even though this is fiction, I had the feeling this could be real. I love how she intertwines scripture with the story. I enjoy the outdoors, but don't spend enough time there. Donna has a way of drawing you into the story, I lived these adventures with the characters. Almost like a roller coaster with the emotions, it left me wanting more. I need to find out how the story continues.
