Fascinating and Authentic

I really enjoyed this book, its stories, viewpoints and narrating. Scott was a great man, troubled and not without demons, but his impact was broad and deep, and his heart was as good as gold. Dylan did a phenomenal job crafting the storyline and authentically encompassing Scott’s life, his family, and the many ties to Joe Dillard.

Heartwrenchingly real

Loved everything about this book. Very raw and real. I have listened to the Dillard series twice and now will listen to them again with a new perspective.

The life of Scott Pratt

I love the Joe Dillard series but did not know a lot about the author. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing all about his life and his family and can see the similarities between Scott Pratt and Joe Dillard and now I am inspired to read the entire series again. Well done.

Looking behind the scenes

I enjoyed listening to this book about the life and struggles of one of my favorite authors. I also found out that the written reviews are more important than I realized. My thoughts about reviews were just to other readers so I skipped writing them. It’s the authors that really benefit from them.
