I really liked the thought that improving awareness and the self is the road to emotional freedom. I will be re-listen as I am sure I missed a bit while some of it was sinking in and continued to be absorbed. Wish there were more tactical exercises, but that is more personal anyhow, so probably better off leaving that prescription to the listener.

it is almost written as a transcription of his conferences. That's was my main hurdle with this book, I was NOT expecting that (although I do not really know what I was expecting) Once you are able to get into the prose, the book becomes conversational, easy to listen & eye opening.

A tricky issue is well broken down into identifiable terms with methods for remedies. An honest description of painful feelings and attending behaviors with which one can identify.

Although some people see situational awareness as a negative I found this book gave great advice to show how you can be aware of dangers that people would not see, the information in this book can save lives and keep people safe.good listen

A wonderful book, and full of humor--rarely found in books on awareness.John Travel is quite right about the peace that can be yours if only you drop your attitudes toward and expectations of other people and the world. Just be sure to read the "fine print" that tells you that adopting a new world view will give you pain. It will! -- at first. But anyone who sticks with the basic ideas presented here in four steps -- 1) realize you have negative feelings 2) understand that they are coming from you 3) don't identify them with your essential self, and 4) understand that when you change, the world changes -- is in for quite a wonderful surprise.
