Good listen

I enjoyed this book. The narration was done well and character voice was maintained throughout. I would have liked for the relationship between the main characters to have a little more substance. It seemed mostly based on attraction rather than feelings. There were a few parts where I wondered, "now, how'd we get here." I was driving while listening so maybe I was just distracted during some key points. Overall, it was good. I'm curious how the next book will proceed.

Secrets Abound

I was entertained by this story which was my first experience with this author. I enjoyed all the twists and turns as this story unfolded. I liked the characters, Deacon and Dulcie, and their burgeoning relationship. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. I thought Christine Victoria's narration was good, and her performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was gifted a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which detailed my honest opinions about this story.

Good premise

This had an interesting ptemise but i was pretty confused as to what was going on. I wanted more background on certsin characters, & more explanations on the family business. Narration was good with the southern accents though.
