Unrequited Love

Jamie has been so poorly treated. His loyalty and love had been unending only to have it thrown back in his face. His chance meeting with his former friend Lucy was his chance at a new life. Her long yearning love for him, and the fact that she was able to open his eyes and see who she really was, was a gift that Jamie would never expect. So glad when everything worked out. A beautiful love story! The relationship among the soldiers was so heartwarming and as a veteran I have personally seen this type of friendship that becomes lifelong.
