Even lies told with the best intentions come back to haunt you…
Gideon King knew better than to trust anything said by his unwanted pen pal. He almost fell into the oldest trap known to man once before and narrowly escaped his ex-girlfriend’s deceit. The temptation of taking down a well-known liar among the soldiers was almost too good to resist!

Annabelle Lawson paid dearly for her web of stories told during a time of sheer desperation. Death, an unwanted pregnancy, and a tremendous mistake left her grasping at straws. Driving away any source of support at her lowest point, she ended up regretting every word uttered… especially now.

When a broken, scared woman has nothing left to lose - meets a bitter, jaded man that is afraid of being hurt again… will love conquer all or are some scars just too deep?

These standalone sweet, clean romances follow a team of soldiers that were once stationed in Afghanistan, bound by friendship. They can be read alone, but if you read them together, their stories are so much richer.

Well, Mrs. Ginny Sterling! I have to say you did an outstanding job of turning my opinion around about Annabelle. I thought she was one of the lowest forms of humanity in her treatment of Jamie. Initially, Gideon came across as a hard-core soldier, although he crumbled quickly when Annabelle came into the picture. I guess it’s really amazing when you get to hear both sides of someone’s story instead of just one side. I felt that Gideon helped Annabelle realize that something possibly unlawful had happened to her and she felt her soul was redeemed. It was wonderful to see they both found each other. As a quick side note, I enjoy Ginny’s wit, I laughed out loud when Gideon was discussing the “lady bits” office! Can’t wait to hear the next book in the series, I have enjoyed all the books tremendously!

Wow! What a Turnaround!
