Wow.... A true hero in the making

Jack Keyes is awkward. That is being kind, actually. To the rest of the team, he is just WEIRD. When he gets a penpal, he tries to figure her out, like a puzzle. But Mia was an enigma.

When Mia Sinclair sees a young girl hiding from her mother at Wal-Mart, she steps in to help the girl understand that hiding outside of her home is dangerous. Lily Griffin immediately takes a liking to the woman who found her little Rose. This starts a conversation where Mia is asked to be a penpal.

The story starts out strong and ends in the most gorgeous way. One of my absolute favorite Healing Hearts stories.

The Damsel in Distress!

This was such a unique book in the series. Ginny certainly can imagine and create different situations and backdrops for her characters. I love the dependability and nobility of Jack. His sense of right and wrong was without compromise. He did not want to see his Mia being mistreated and frankly would’ve probably stepped in and tried to save any female in that position. Mia just happened to be his beloved penpal. I love how the love and devotion between the two blossomed resulting in the overall success of their story together. Great job, Ginny! This series has been wonderful. I am so glad I discovered Ginny Sterling as a writer, she’s wonderful! As usual, I really, really dislike the virtual narrator. There are just too many words that are mispronounced.
