The Lords of Kassis is a terrific series, with many, many scary events and unexpected plot developments. I love little Mattie, who takes an unplanned trip to the stars!
She finds true love when she least expects it.
I recommend this novella but do start from the beginning and zip through the series; they’re all enrapturing, with Smith’s great sense of humor and mad love.
I only wish it had been read and recorded by a sexy male voice. It’s sooo much better.

Glad it is finally on audible I m trying to collect all of ms Smiths book on audible so I can listen to them when I’m doing other stuff kinda hard to read and drive right. Her series are all books you can listen to over and over
