I had a vivid conversation about Sangeet's book with GPT-5 and this is our conclusion. Reshuffle brilliantly redirects our gaze from “AI as task automation” to “AI as system reshaping.” But it underestimates the ontological shift in value itself—from material output and coordination efficiency toward meaning, legitimacy, and governance. The true winners will be those who design the norms and institutions around AI, not only those who orchestrate ecosystems with it. In short, AI doesn’t just reshuffle who wins; it reshuffles what it means to win. As routine cognition becomes cheap, value shifts to sense-making, narratives, and trust systems. As AI floods us with synthetic options (texts, designs, ideas), value will be in curation, constraint, and legitimacy. Not only corporate ecosystems will be reshuffled—expect AI-mediated civic ecosystems reshuffling (citizens coordinating public goods via AI agents). Great book, worth not only reading, but studying in detail.

terrible narration

I wish I would have seen it's a AI narrator before purchasing. Hard to listen to. The book often references the clothing company Shein, pronounced "she-in" but the AI says "shine". Very annoying.

The AI narration is bad

I’m trying to get through the book but wow the narration is making it hard. I know it is a book about AI so who can blame them for trying to use AI narration but it sucks. So lazy. Did anyone do one check on these before releasing it? Listening to it somehow say Airbnb differently yet incorrectly each and every time is a little entertaining but very distracting. Very lazy narration.
