The English accent (female) was enjoyable to listen to.

The story is about a young woman of London’s Mayfair high society. The lady is no mere flirtatious girl and not one to be swept off her feet by men who make sport of breaking hearts. When a certain gentleman, known to trifle with hearts, takes an interest in her, she must tread with extreme caution.

The story is well told and the characters are interesting, some likable and others are less than honorable. The lady realizes a mistake in judging someone’s true character can have lasting bad consequences.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It’s the final book in the Heatherfield series.
