A descendant of Alaska’s indigenous Yupik people, Meriwa thought she would handle the extreme light and dark seasons better. But this darkness was different. Ever since a traumatic experience at a fair, Meriwa’s life had been plunged into a dark world. Her life is in turmoil and going nowhere. Worse—she is being oppressed and tormented by dark shadows who make her miserable.

As a desperate move to change things, Meriwa makes a decision she hopes will alleviate her suffering and pull her up from darkness. Be prepared to ride out of the darkness and head into the light.
