Davenport & Flowers!

I’ve always liked the Virgil Flowers novels better than Lucas Davenport ones. The Flowers novels have more humor and I like that. This, while in the Davenport title series, is written more like a Flowers novel. So, I enjoyed it a lot. Also the conversations about writing this kind of a book were really enjoyable.all in all, a fun ride.

One downside of this novel is the agendas being pushed. Don’t get me wrong, I totally, totally agree with the author on every point, but maybe it could have been a little less pointed.

Although I agree that some people won’t get the point unless you hit them over the head with it……

A win for John Sanford. Like this one much better than the Miami story. This is Lucas & Virgil at their best, fighting the black hats together!

Davenport and Flowers together again

Another great book from Sandford! I love both the Davenport and the Flowers books, but have found myself looking forward to the Flowers books more recently. Bringing these characters together is a great combo and I was parsing out the few last chapters as I didn't want the book to end.
