I love Mr Perkins

Mr Perkins is one of my favorite performers. his character performance is good but the best part of his performance is really his ability to project the thoughts and emotions of the characters. he is performing an interpretation that conveys the emotions of them without attempting to push to characterize them. I understand and imagine without having to go through the lens of someone else's understanding. This is a subtle difference but a powerful one. I may choose an audio book narrated by Perkins before I do one with an interesting premise.

Absolutely enthralling.

I bought the first book and loved it. The detail and creation were absolutely amazing.
This second book was even better. If you love fantasy that is less gritty but lots of action with details and a beautifully built world. You should listen to it.
Beautifully done Sir Author. I aspire to write something as enjoyable as this.

great, but!!!

while this is yet another amazing tail. this isn't a book for someone who listens while the they work or whatever. you will find yourself rewinding or wondering what you missed. I still highly recommend it.

Excellent depth and storytelling

Such a wonderful series of books and am looking forward to the next in the series. A very well developed world with great interwoven characters made it hard to stop listening.

Loved the book, and love Derek Perkins! one of the best translations of a book I've ever listened to
