Dwayne Manning has chosen a life without walls—wandering highways, forests, and forgotten towns and backroads, carrying only memories of the woman he lost. Freedom is his compass, solitude his companion.

But on a quiet stretch of New Mexican highway, everything changes. A brief roadside chat with a sheriff seems ordinary enough—until hours later. Dwayne finds the same patrol car flipped on its side, abandoned, and eerily silent.

No skid marks. No crash. No sheriff.
Then he sees the impossible.
A living, breathing tyrannosaurus rex!

The beast towers over the desert scrub. The T-Rex's massive head turning toward him, its roar shattering the stillness of the modern world. Time has broken—or something far worse has.

Now Dwayne must outrun a predator from 65 million years ago with nothing but the open road and his wits.
