Great female lead

Another inventive story by Christine Marshall. Although this is the first book Christine released, it's actually the 4th in this series. I came to the series late, so I read the three origin stories before this one and I'm glad I did. While this story would be a good starting point, it was nice to have the background of the other characters. There are lots of winks in this book to the origin stories, and as an interested reader, I was excited to see how Charlie would figure things out. Read this series!
