Total immersion in story plot and characters from very beginning

It was hard to put the book down. It was audible and narrator was excellent! So went about my housework wearing headphones!!
I kept waiting for a surprise ending. But it's absolutely my new favorite author

TC makes madness of schizophrenia into a charming chastity women's Lib tale. weaving poverty and wealth through old Montecito.

not riveting

I found this unnecessarily long, a bit boring, the storyline tedious, and the narration uninspiring.
