Loved it!!

A heartwarming and uplifting story of faith, rooted in historical events. It’s a delightful read, well-written and narrated with great skill. I’ll definitely read more of her books.

Excellent story line and cast of characters!

I enjoy a book that is not easy to guess or predict what will come next. This book delivers this and the strong, growing faith in the Lord through interesting and endearing characters. I couldn’t put it down and finished it quickly.

Loved this story

Wonderful story, with characters that capture your heart. Showing people who went through terrible hardship and still came through with their faith in God. I was especially impressed to find out that this was historical fiction, but based on real people and what the town did To help him.

A compassionate town

The story of Louis is filled with heart warming characters and twists that are completely unexpected! I would love to know if Logan ends up becoming a believer and comes back for his girl!

Captivating and warm

The narration makes the story come to life. At first I detested the narrator's voice as she brought different characters to life, but I continued to listen because I found the story interesting. In the end, I'm glad I stuck with it.

There were many parts that caused me to smile, others that were a bit predictable, and some that made me say, hmmm...didn't expect that to occur.

I truly enjoyed the spiritual sharing. It reminds readers that we are all children of God, walking our own journey under His care. It also showed how being in a relationship with God impacts perspective - ours and others.
