RETURN TO THE WORLD OF UNDER THE NEVER SKY

Roar of the Tides has been through it all. The staggering death of the girl he loves. The destruction of the only place he's ever called home by harrowing Aether storms. Now, a year later, finally safe in an idyllic new land, his life should be back on track. Instead, he's haunted by the memory of his beloved's brutal murder by Sable of the Horns-until the day he hears a call for help that changes everything.

After fleeing from the tribe that held her hostage, Tempest of the Horns has been in hiding. She wants nothing more than to reunite with her brother, Sable, and return to her true home. When she sends out a distress call hoping to reach him, she doesn't expect a stranger to answer instead.

When Roar and Tempest meet, their fate has already been sealed by lies and betrayals. But when they're captured by a common enemy who plans to kill Roar and usurp Tempest's ancestral lands, they'll need to overcome old wounds and forge ahead as partners, proving that heroic feats can happen in the heart as much as on any battlefield.

Wonderful addition to finish off the trilogy, I am so glad Roar got his happy ending!

Siezing and captivating read!

This book deserves a proper audiobook. This ain’t that. Although it’s better than I expected a computer generated voice to be, it’s still flat and lacks any emotion.

AI reading isn’t good enough

The overall story is not a bad one, but the AI voice in Audible is awful. Doesn’t pronounce names correctly (ie Per pronounced “pur” like a cat, not “pear” short for Perry), nor other words. There’s zero emotion, and when there is in random spots, it’s completely wrong. Not sure I’ll ever listen to Virtual Voicing again. It’s just lazy. Pay someone who at least pretends so that we can get into the story and enjoy it!

The story wasn’t bad, but the Virtual Voicing AI reader was awful!

AI voice mispronounced words often and had awkward pauses in reading. Overall I liked the writing and story.

good story, AI voice was terrible

No emotion in the reading. It’s as one would imagine when a computer is reading a book. The story is great though.

The audio recording is AI generated
