For over 20 years, Robert Hanssen betrayed his country—and no one knew.

Inside the FBI, he was respected and admired. Behind closed doors, he was passing top-secret information to the Soviets and later the Russians—resulting in the deaths of agents, the compromise of missions, and the exposure of America’s most sensitive intelligence strategies.

Robert Hanssen: The FBI Mole Who Played a Deadly Game is a gripping, true account of how one man eluded detection for decades while undermining U.S. national security. David G. Stone explores Hanssen’s motivations, the damage he inflicted, and the meticulous sting operation that finally brought him down.

Perfect for fans of spy thrillers, true crime, and Cold War espionage, this is the story of one of the most dangerous traitors America has ever known.

This book is a summary of a summary of a conclusion of a summary. It has so few details, that a quick Google search knitted more information than four hours of listening to this book. It’s also poorly recorded. No disrespect to the narrator, but it does seem as though he was recording with a subpar mic and without an editor. There are multiple times when he stops the tape and repeats himself. This is a weird record recording. Skip it and wait for the movie.
