Secret agent Jason Bourne faces off against his loyal friend who has proven to be his ultimate betrayer, from a New York Times bestselling author.

Jason Bourne is searching for an elusive cadre of terrorists planning to destroy America's most strategic natural resources—and needs the help of his longtime friend, General Boris Karpov.

Karpov, the newly appointed head of Russia's most feared spy agency, FSB-2, is one of the most determined, justice-hungry men that Bourne knows. But Karpov has made a deal with the devil. In order to remain the head of FSB-2, he must hunt down and kill Bourne.

Now, these two trusted friends are on a deadly collision course. The clock is counting down to a disaster that will cripple America's economic and military future. Only Bourne and Karpov have a chance to avert the catastrophe—but if they destroy each other first, that chance will be gone forever.

This is your typical Jason Bourne story, lots of action and overblown description, but fun. The background music did nothing for the story and, in fact, detracted significantly from it. I will try to ascertain whether such interference is present before I buy any other books.

Decent Bourne story, skip the background music

Would you try another book from Robert Ludlum and Eric Van Lustbader and/or Jeremy Davidson?

Absolutely. Even though these books often miss the mark in terms of reading like a Ludlum novel, a lot of cool stuff comes from just the attempt.

Has Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Dominion turned you off from other books in this genre?

No way.

What about Jeremy Davidson’s performance did you like?

I can appreciate the decisions he made that kept the character consistent. It has to be hard to keep the character feeling the same from book to book with different narrators.

Could you see Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Dominion being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

These questions really have to go.

Any additional comments?

If you have committed to the Bourne character then i don't really know how you can pas son this. It's not the best but its one of the closer to real ones out there.

TM - never forget.

Really enjoyed it, I'm now hooked and off to the next in the series. Twists and turns

A wonderful listening experience.

Well I can say that this is better than the last few Van Lustbader offerings in the Bourne series. At least he has gotten rid of the silly magic/supernatural aspect of the last few novels. Even so the story is over complicated, sometimes hard to follow and other times way too predictable. Certainly not worthy of the spirit of the the first 3 books by Ludlam himself.

Average at best..
