He sets about on adventures through the country to recruit people to assist in his robberies, to cause mischief to the royalty seeking to have him captured, and to give money and resources to the poor and needy in society.

Howard Pyle’s novel was created by taking old legends and stories of adventurous and good-hearted bandits and turning them into a cohesive story. Robin Hood is a beloved classic and remains a charming and fascinating work of adventure literature.
