Fantastic, enthralling!

My 8 year old and I found ourselves wishing the story was longer and eagerly hope for a sequel! Well written, satisfying Mars sci-fi that leaves you wondering what's possible out there.

Interesting idea, but needs more

The concept was great...I love the idea of discovering advanced life using rovers, plus I love a good conspiracy. And I like hearing about the scientists of NASA. So the elements are there for a good story. But things seemed to be not quite polished. My biggest issue was the dialog, especially short conversations. I don't know the secret, but some authors can just make these things flow without constantly using "...said Bob." "...said Joe" "... said Bob"It might be possible for the narrator to fix this with clear distinct voices and leave out the "said"s. My other issue was that there seemed to be several good ideas hinted at, but never really developed. I just don't think there was time to develop them in such a short story.

The narration seemed solid, and I can't tell if problems I had with the flow of dialog could have been improved by the narrator or not.

Despite the issues mentioned above, I still enjoyed the story, and would be willing to check out a sequel, although I am not quite sure how a sequel would work.
