Rules are meant to be broken....

No matter the cost....

When it comes to love.

I'm Dreamweaver Alissandra, and it's not my fault my heart drew me closer to my sexy human dream charge than my family's rules permit. How could I possibly resist when we share a soul-deep connection they couldn't fathom? Shhhh, no one need know.

But I discover my father, the god of dreams (a.k.a. Morpheus or the Sand Man), is scheming to exploit humans. No way am I going to let that happen without a fight.

Knowing Father, it will cost me dearly.

It doesn't matter. I won't let my prince - or any human - suffer.

You’ll love this sweet dreams, gods-versus-mortals fairy tale retelling - a refreshingly unique and original fusion of English and Greek myths - because every heart longs to believe love is enough to carry us through the toughest of times.

Rock-A-Bye Baby is the second book (the series prequel) in the completed four-book, enthralling Sand Maiden paranormal romance series. If you love books that connect with your soul, destined lovers, potent sorcery, and unique retellings of ancient myths, then you’ll adore binge-listening to USA Today best-selling author L.R.W. Lee’s vulnerable, intimate, and gritty tale.

I have to say. I really should have listened to this one first. It really made me understand the other one. L.R.W. LEE did an amazing job with bringing the sand man/ maiden to life. And Sarah Kisko did an excellent job with the emotions, and she has a great singing voice. I can't wait for the next book.

OMG I should have listened to this book first

This book is about the events that led up to the events in Lullabye. It is very interesting to see how Ali was drawn to the prince throughout life. But I feel this book is best read before book one just because it gives background to the characters. It's a bit unsatisfying as it doesn't clarify the cliffhanger ending to book one. Other than that it's a great book. I cant wait to read the rest of the series!

Prequel not sequel

When starting this one I wasn’t aware it’s a prequel to lullaby.

We hear about the birth of the twins and everything that takes place up until when lullaby starts.

We hear more about fmc family and more about by it was important for her to leave dream realm and go to wake realm, so in this way the story doesn’t progress romantic/relationship wise but we get a lot more in the world building aspect.

4 star listen, I enjoyed the narrator (same as book 1)

Still the 3rd book is out so you can keep reading/ listening. The Dream Realm is pleasant and peaceful until Alissandra's father wants all his power over all the realm back and goes to war and losses. Now he wants power over the Waking realm instead. Narrator does a good job with the various characters voices and the entire storyline.

Good Story, but ends with a Cliffhanger

I loved the back stories that filled in some holes from the previous novel. The depths of love and sacrifice from Ali are written so well you wish to one day be the recipient of a love like that.

The narration again is outstanding. You truly feel like you are listening in on multiple people’s conversation. I could listen tho this narrator all day.

Loved the aback Stories
