• Romantic dates, gestures, and demeanor.

This collection of short stories can be very entertaining, to say the least. Be ready to melt away as you listen to these romantic diaries and stories.

Awesome

I like short stories like these. I actually don't like stories that are too long anyway, so anthologies like this one are ideal for me.

I loved the author's clean take on things. There is literally no sex, but there is definitely attraction, suggestive things, and some tension between the sexes. Things makes it fun and humorous, but not in the erotica category. On the contrary, even a kid could read these. The author has an interesting take on some things. For example, she keeps referring to certain fantasy creatures in one or two of the stories, which makes it a bit more mysterious but not too crazy.

The narrator was great too, bringing the story to life.

So these stories aren't very long, but they add up to about 3.5 hours of story telling time. In that sense, I think I got a good deal. I love anthologies like these.

Now about the stories. There is one where everything is just classic. You know, the stuff you always want to see in a romance story: Fight first, have something happen, meet the parents, get married later (spoiler alert). I think the author purposely didn't put a lot of eccentric, new things in there, just to please the crowds. The others had different things, like the one with the clumsy princess. It made me laugh. Typical scenes from movies where they find out (suddenly) that they are of royal descent, but at the same time, they aren't used to the posh manners in such circles. I guess I don't have a lot to say about the other stories, but I enjoyed them thoroughly.

The narrator really got into it. I could tell. It was something he enjoyed doing. He emphasized some things more than others, which helped the atmosphere and tone of the stories.

Overall, recommended for those who want to kick back, relax, and get into the drama and happy endings of a bunch of short romance stories. That's what it is. Nothing less, nothing more.

Great stories

Fun! Fun! Fun! And yes, clean romance. Nothing sexually explicit. In fact, if you're looking for that, you will be disapointed. I wasn't, though, because I'm not a pervert. Thanks, Rachel. Keep it up. YOu have a knack for story telling.

Boring

Mediocre stories. Simple writing. Stopped listening . Would like a refund please as soon as possible.

Not for me

I thought it would be nice to listen to this book with my mother on a long drive. She likes a sweet, clean romance. We did not enjoy the stories at all. I'd say we stuck with it for 2 1/2 stories and then gave up. The writing is a little odd. Sometimes the word choices simply made no sense.
