Loyalty. Duty. Deceit.

I never imagined my first trip to Italy would be to bury my father. But there I stood, alone in the ancient cathedral with my father’s casket, a handful of soldiers standing guard.

It never occurred to me that anyone would disrupt the sanctity of the moment. But the Caballero brothers have little regard for the church and even less for my family. They marched in, weapons in hand, and turned my world upside down.

They shattered what peace I had. They desecrated my father’s body. And they took what they wanted. Me.

I’m a princess in a tower in a breathtaking villa. My bedroom overlooks the turquoise sea, but the door is locked.

And I have to contend with not one but two dragons.

So good! I was sucked in from the start. I enjoyed the plot and so many steamy scenes.

Even with all of the trauma, this is a great story. Two smoking hot brothers sharing the FMC is a kink that I didn’t know I so desperately needed, The great part about the writing is it makes complete sense for all three characters. Spice is deliciously off the charts. I’ve seen complaints about the female narrator. I disagree. The character has lots of trauma, and it’s very realistically presented. James Cassidy needs to read every book please. The only thing that would make this series better is if it was a real dual narration where the female narrator performs all the female voices and the male narrator performs all the male voices and not have to perform every voice in the chapter they are narrating. That’s my only complaint.

Loved this series!!

There were some really good moments in this story. Especially the first part, but the second part was definitely predictable. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I also wouldn’t talk bad about it either. 3.5 ⭐️ 4 🌶️

James Cassidy’s voice is absolutely perfect.

Sure kept my interest. Constantly moving. The spice was awesome.

The narration of the FMC's tone & inflection sounds off quite a bit; like it's too hard or with too much effort. & the FMC does not seem to have good deduction or analytical thinking & comes off sounding willfully naive around alot of her family's situations, excluding her doctor erased memories. Other than that, the book is pretty good.

pretty good overall
