I love Rumi’s work. This book helped me know Rumi better. The voice narration was 8 on scale of 1-10.

Meh

I liked this audiobook at first. There are definitely a few handfuls of wise words in this program. What was disenchanting was that at times I felt like this was a New Age self help audiobook with information about Rumi and Sufism. At times the author makes bold claims that are very "New Age-ish" and flat out partly true at best. For example, the author claims that mystics believe that God is "the universe" and that Abrahamic mystics denounce dogma and religious practices.
