However, falling in love quickly brings up old memories and flashbacks from a time Tess had long ago tried to forget. The deeper in love she falls, the more she realizes how the events of the past have shaped who she is. Tess must dig deep within herself, reliving the past, and question her real reasons for living her life the way she does if she wants to truly fall in love.

With summer over, Tess must decide between her love for Evan or continuing to run from her past.

What a great narrator! I love the story, all the nurses diaries so far have been amazing.

Actually laughed out loud

Runaway Tess is a wonderful book with true laugh out loud moments. My husband heard part of this book (Mexican food) and I had to stop the audio until he stopped laughing. I adore a book that can take me from hilarity to compassion. The characters had me rooting for them in a “get it together “ kind of way. The storyline has a nice pace and kept me engaged. Kudos to the narrator for a great performance.
