It’s finally time for Hiral to return to Fallen Reach and show his enemies just how far he’s come.

After saving the world in the undead city, Hiral and his remaining party members race toward Fallen Reach.

Their numbers are shrinking, but their power has only grown: at nearly C-Rank, they can crush armies.

Yet challenges still wait ahead, including a familiar Infested that hungers for revenge … and powerful Makers that might not react well to the Everfail’s return.

But Hiral’s enemies don’t know one important detail: he is not the same person who jumped from the islands.

The Everfail is no more, and he is going to show those who’d harm his home and loved ones just how overpowered he has become.

I honestly don't know why I keep getting this book series. 1st book was like 2/3 just fght scenes, 2nd book was just fill while drip feeding you a story. and this book I thought it would be different with them getting back home, however it was all just dungeons and almost every fight took 1hr listen to. I keep hope that 1 or 2 hr fight scenes are done but is suspect the next book will just be 3 dungeon or so with the goal to pick up their friends they left behind.

This story continuation was good, it answered some long standing questions, and saw the events of book one come full circle. However, it spent a lot of time on dungeons and battles, then rushed past the character development to get to the next battles.

If that’s your cup of tea you’ll enjoy this book probably more than the others. If you’re looking for more time with the world and characters, then you’ll find yourself skipping entire chapters.

Decent if it’s your thing
