What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 26-30 from the Russian Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. Detailed instructions enable you to understand and participate in the conversation. Practice for vocabulary introduced in previous lessons is included in each lesson. The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Russian.

I good way to learn a new language

I bought these because they were on sale on Audible one day and I’d always wanted to learn Russian. I listened to these on the train and though at times I napped while listening I still learned. I’ve listened to this book several times and I can understand individuals speaking Russian the news. Give it a go and see what results you get.

The last several chapters all refer to the reading booklet? How do we access this??

What didn’t you like about Pimsleur’s performance?

My hearing is not good and my understanding was that there would be a written document related to the spoken work. This could have been useful to see those pronunciations that are hard to pick up from just listening. Even if written in Russian because learning the alphabet is easy.
