If it was any longer..

I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much.. by halfway I was annoyed with fmc. She was always crying, always trembling, it got on my nerves. I started skimming her inner dialogue, it was a bit much. The insta lust/ insta love was a over the top, the spice was spicing and I definitely will relisten in the future... Loved Kage, wish there was more of him. Loved the narrators, made the story better.

Perfect!

I could not put it down! The plot was really interesting and well written, it had a lot of spice, the narration was perfect. I felt invested in the characters throughout the book. I am off to read the next book on the series- I love how the epilogue lead right into the second book with Sloan.

this book had mi not wntin to stop listenin and the narration was awesome, brought the book alive and the fact the male read the male parts and female read the female parts, im lovin it! next!

Suspense equal to the romance

The heroine had a personality. The hero was your standard tortured alpha. So he was fun but he wasn’t what made the book better than dozens of other romances. What I liked about her was that she was a thinking adult who questioned the hero. But this story wasn’t romance with a little mafia in the background; it was as much suspense as romance. I’ve already purchased the next book in the series because I want to follow the next adventure.

Not My Kind of Trope

As I listened to this story, I realized I'm not into the mafia/gang war storyline. However, J.T. Geissinger is an excellent writer and I absolutely LOVED Perfect Strangers and Pen Pal!
