Good story,female reader was robotic sounding unbelievable.the male reader was fine. Consider re-recording

Another Brockmann hit!

Although I thought this book was not one of Melanie Ewbank's best, Patrick Lawlor nailed it again. The story was classic Brockmann gold. Hope to hear Jay Lopez' story soon?!

Older SEAL confronts his future- retirement & a bright woman

Enjoyed this more realistic SEAL- Jim Spaceman Slade and his confronting his aging, injured knees leading to a forced job change. Ashley though was difficult to deal with at times. She was a bright problem solver but too passive at times for my taste especially with the bullies, and a bit too reticent with Jim at the end given his medical issues. A good edition to the series with decent narration.

Fast moving exciting. Good sense of humor.

It was a good story demonstrating the problem of working in todays corporate world. Then how that was different from surviving in the world of the military that protects the business/corporate world.

I love this series!

After finishing this latest book in the series I am very tempted to go back and start it all over again. Well done Suz!
