P.S. - This was once called When A Black Woman Shines. I changed the title because the book is a mixture of triumph and struggle. The struggle is most relatable, and happens on a daily basis. Therefore, When Sista Meets Struggle is a more fitting title. We all have identical struggles. The struggle to obtain the best for our children, and find a suitable mate. The struggle to find purpose and get the best job, with the highest wage possible. The everyday struggle to survive, pay off the car note, and take care of bills, not to mention keeping families together and fighting for the American dream. Of course this is about the greatest struggle of all, which is the struggle to be happy. In that way the main character is a reflection of us all. Again, A MUST READ!!!

Hate the Virtual Narrator

Can’t stand virtual voice. Mispronounced words driving me crazy. No feeling to narrative. Drive me nuts and takes away from the story.
