In the quiet valley of Hemlock Creek, the woods have always been a sanctuary. Now, they’re a tomb.

It begins with a single hiker, found suspended in the trees, his body partitioned by filaments stronger than steel and sharper than a surgeon's scalpel. Sheriff Brody, just weeks from a peaceful retirement, finds himself facing a predator that shouldn’t exist. But this is no simple monster. It's an intelligent, extraterrestrial species systematically turning his home into a slaughterhouse.

The invaders' webs are a biological impossibility, a weaponized architecture of living glass that can slice through anything. Cut off from the outside world by a shimmering cage of silk, the residents of Hemlock Creek are no longer people, but prey. A monstrous queen and her hive are harvesting them one by one, wrapping their homes and turning the town into a larder for an unspeakable feast.

As a small band of survivors makes a final, desperate stand, they discover the terrifying truth: this is not a hunt. It is terraforming. And humanity is just part of the local fauna being cleared away.
