The Alabaster Tower is a marvel of modern engineering, a sixty-two-story giant of glass and steel. But when the clock strikes midnight, a routine security drill plunges the skyscraper into a terrifying, unnatural silence. The lockdown is not a drill. It's a trap.

Mara Palumbo, the building's sole engineer, discovers the tower has been sealed not for a test, but for a hunt. Alien creatures now crawl the corridors, their webs choking the skyscraper's intricate systems and turning it into a massive, multi-level web. Trapped between floors, a rookie security guard and a handful of civilians must fight for their lives against the monstrous infestation.

High above, Mara realizes the only way to save anyone is to ascend through the hostile, alien landscape and seize back control of the building's brain. But the creatures are intelligent, they're adapting, and at the top of the tower, in the heart of the nest, the queen is waiting. In a desperate battle for survival, the remaining humans must use the building itself as a weapon. Can they outsmart a predator that has already turned their world into its hunting ground?
