The Black-Vein Mine has been sealed for generations, a tomb holding the dark memory of a 1947 disaster that claimed an entire crew—including Cole’s great-uncle. Now, armed with a legendary map and a team of explorers, Cole is breaking the seal, determined to uncover the truth buried deep in the mountain.

But the mine has not been empty.

The moment the welded door is cut open, a foul air of decay escapes, and the silence within is ancient and predatory. When the door slams shut behind them, they are plunged into a labyrinth of absolute darkness. They are not just trapped; they are being herded. Something impossibly ancient and intelligent has been waiting in the deep, and it is hungry.

Forced deeper into a subterranean nightmare of webbing and bone, the team discovers the horrifying truth of what happened to the original miners. The creatures in the dark are not just monsters; they are architects of terror, and the mine is their nest. With their lights failing and their sanity fraying, the desperate survivors must fight their way through a chittering horde in a frantic, explosive battle for survival. But in a place where the walls themselves are alive, escape may be impossible. And the greatest horror may be the one they carry out with them.

I thought it was a great story but it was ruined by the monotone sounding voice and mispronounced words. Would be better to listen to with a real voice.

Great story line
