A CHILDREN'S FANTASY STAGE PLAY In Two Acts by Roger Howarth Jaymie Summers is eleven, almost twelve. He is a shy sensitive boy who is excluded from most sports. The bullies want to know why. After a conflict, Jaymie runs away to his secret place where a big old oak tree grows. He camps out overnight, hoping to see his very special friends. But the bullies follow him. They force him to reveal his secret then take his clothes and leave him stranded. Jaymie then befriends a mysterious tramp, Mr. Trudge, who has also seen Jaymie's special friends when he was Jaymie's age.
