Annoying AI narrator

The AI narrator frequently paused in places it shouldn't, making it difficult to focus on the story. The story was okay but seemed to drag for the last several chapters. I kept thinking it was about to be over, but it wasn't. I liked that the theme is about holding onto hope and being kind.
