This book takes place in Siberia, not Patagonia.
There is a cattle ranch, but no tourists.
The book was good, but completely unlike the description given in the summary.
I would actually like to read the book about a “ghost cat” killing tourists in Patagonia; but I have no idea what that book title is, since clearly it is not this book.
