Vatican Mystery

Marco is the youngest pope at the Vatican and Matteo the youngest prime minister. After an assassination attempt Matteo goes to the Vatican to meet with Marco about ending corruption between the church and politicians. Both men are fairly progressive in their thinking. This is not only a love story, but covers plenty of heavy subjects including scandals, conflicts, beliefs and feelings.

Wonderful story!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this story but I was truly impressed and happy that I got to read/listen to this book. It opened my eyes to what really is possible and how strongly this would affect the world today. I am so happy that Matteo and Marco were able to be true to who they are and hopefully get to have a great future. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves mm romance stories especially with spiritual influences.

The narrator was really good. His voice was calm and soothing and exactly what the Pope should sound like. I love that this book is not only a sweet high angst story of true, pure love between a Prime Minister and a newly appointed Pope, it's also a hard won fight against corruption and coercion. The results of the Synod actually made me cry. If only this was real life...
