Karen Harris relinquished her command of Unit T, supposedly going into retirement. Cartels and criminal groups in Europe quickly realised that with her gone, Unit T was no longer proactive, in fact they had effectively disappeared. Taking advantage, many groups were once more abducting girls and the trafficking industry was again flourishing.

In Marbella three girls, out for the night, were snatched. When the charity Lost But Never Forgotten called Unit T, they were not interested, suggesting they contact the local police. The charity knew that wouldn’t help, but they had no direct contact number for Karen. Eventually they made Karen aware, through one of Karen’s friends. What would Karen do about it, after all she was out of Unit T and as far as the charity knew, she no longer had any contacts. Except the girls' futures rested in Karen’s hands, or they were lost forever!
