Samuel Higgins double-checked the hardware McCall had brought for him. Seeing that everything was in order, he placed the attaché case on the front seat of the SUV.
“Good hunting,” McCall said as the two men walked to the vehicle.
“Will you be tracking my movements?” Higgins asked.
“No. I leave, keeping tabs on you, to your good friend, Debbie. She will do the job from home using the portable version of the same system at the office.”
“I feel safer already,” Higgins said with a smirk on his face.
