A world on the brink of devastation. A young girl with the power to tip the scales.
Talia, an unsuspecting young hunter, is suddenly thrust into a conflict older than time itself. For countless millennia, the Stream has been the world's defense against the consuming darkness of the Void. But the balance has been shattered, and the Void's malevolent forces are closing in on Talia, desperate to seize the dormant power within her.
Ripped from the life she once knew, Talia is forced to confront a destiny she never asked for, alongside her childhood friends, Sai and Yang. As they uncover the mysteries of their intertwined fates, each must face their own trials—Sai, catapulted into the treacherous world of aristocracy, and Yang, hunted for his latent gifts.
With the Searchers on their heels, this unlikely trio must master their burgeoning abilities, or risk the Void's corruption spreading to all corners of their world.
"Savant, Book One of The Stream and the Void," is a breathtaking journey through a world where light and darkness wage an eternal battle.
Join Talia, Sai, and Yang as they navigate treacherous paths of self-discovery, sacrifice, and courage, in a tale that will captivate listeners and leave them yearning for more.

We were enjoying the story so much; we were a bit put out that we have to wait for the next book to continue the adventures of Talia, Sai, and Yang.
Fantastically told tale

I enjoyed Talia's story, but I actually found myself very invested in the story of Sai as well.
I enjoyed switching narration from a male narrator and a female narrator. As well. I thought they did fairly well.
I was a little annoyed that the first book basically ended at a cliffhanger. I guess I will have to listen to Book 2.
A good listen. Many colorful characters.
