Sarah Rahab Sutton hides a secret life from her religious parents. While they’re out evangelizing, she’s hooking up for cash and worshipping a faceless man who meets her in an abandoned outhouse.

Pastor Josh McKay lost his young son and wife to a hit-and-run accident. He drives a truck on the same route on the lookout for the deadly driver. Instead, he finds Sarah hitchhiking. He’s instantly attracted to her angelic looks but put off by her unsavory conversation.

When God puts her in his path and he rescues her from a brothel, the temptation is too hot to handle. He thinks marrying her will solve his problems, however, they’ve only just begun.

Sarah wants unconditional love and she fantasizes that the baby she’s carrying will heal Josh’s heart. Meanwhile, Josh is wondering if he made a big mistake.

When Sarah disappears one morning, Josh goes to his friends to mount a rescue. They’re up against more powerful forces than they realize: betrayal, lies, murder, and a wily and well-placed enemy.

Both Josh and Sarah must walk by faith to save their hearts, defeat the criminals, and prove to themselves that true love can rise from the ashes of sin and despair.
