Felt disjointed

I feel like there was just too much going on here. One minute we are on the island, the next somewhere else. It just really felt disjointed for me. Like the author had to throw in random facts to make a word quota or something. Like I didn’t really need to know some of the stuff he gave me. As such, I kept wondering why I needed the information I was being given. Too bad really. I thought I would really get into this one.

Behavior fit mostly for pirates

So many historical details lost me. Interesting story and ultimately they were lucky to make it out

Boring. One long rambling narrative

My god on and on. Didn’t even build climaxes. Where is the dialogue? Dry dry dry on such a great story.

Unable to listen to this. Narrator is terrible. Story goes off repeatedly on tangents almost every other paragraph. Have to return this.
