Older male Kindred with reservations

On a planet, a young 30 year old woman is awaiting her species maturity. Once she hits maturity, she must have male sperm or die of a Ripening disease. She leaves the farm where she lived with her brother and is kidnapped by an alien, who sells her to a brothel. The older male Kindred sees an alien purchasing the woman for breeding purposes, which would kill the woman giving birth. The Kindred saves her, but has many issues why he shouldn’t have a mate. Interesting story with characters emotions and the menace the woman is trying to avoid. Good narrative.

Love the Beast Kindred

The Beast Kindred tends to be my favorite stories in this series. I love the protective growly heros. Very sweet story with an age gap and a communication barrier. EA is one of my favorite authors for alien romance, and Mackenzie Cartwright is a fabulous narrator! Win-Win for this story!

A wonderful read

I have to admit I thought this wasn't going to be a good book, but I was dead wrong!!!
This book kept me interested and in suspense at what will happen next!! I love books like this and hope to find a lot more on audible!!! Great story, loved the narration and look forward to listening to it again and again!!!

Ok

Didn’t find this book as interesting as some of the others, but it wasn’t bad; maybe because it was similar to another book in the series. It cured my Kindred withdrawals until the next book is released. Mackenzie did a great job as usual; William Martin does a better job with Yipper. Too bad William and Mackenzie can’t narrate together.
