This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
His claws drew first blood, but fate had other plans.
When this powerful alpha takes me captive, I discover the enemy might be my only salvation.

Protecting my family was all I cared about,
Until the powerful seasoned enemy proved me wrong.

In an instant, my young life was turned upside down and inside out.
Deep down I felt this undeniable pull toward a shifter I didn’t know existed.

He convinced my adopted family that I would be safer with my kind.
And the closer to our destination the more my heart belongs to him.

Just when I came to terms with being his fated mate, I was snatched away.
Now I must rely on a man that doesn’t believe we are destined to be bonded.

My mate must realize we are fated before it is too late, or all will be lost.

Author's Note: This steamy HEA standalone novel is full of twists, explicit love scenes, and everlasting love. Intended for 18+ audiences.

The narration is your typical virtual voice version. The book was interesting and I particularly liked the ending.

Great book!

Saved by the Enemy (Eternal Hunters Series Book 2) ~~ Book two cranks up the emotional tension. I listened to more of this one on Audible, especially while unwinding after long teaching days, and the narration really helped bring out the vulnerability beneath all that alpha energy. The enemies-to-lovers trope deepens here — feelings are stronger, but so are the consequences.

I liked that the characters were forced to confront their past choices instead of skating past them. Trust is still an issue, and that made the romance feel earned rather than rushed. The pacing is steady, and the action scenes kept me engaged without overpowering the relationship development. By the end, I was fully invested in the series as a whole.

AI read, no thank you. All the voices sound the same. There is no difference between male and female voices. Inflections are wrong. Together it is confusing. I wanted to love this book.
